Like a line from a song by Alanis Morissette, a West Mansfield couple who authored a letter which appeared Saturday in The Forum questioning a group home planned for the village has been uninvited from the open house scheduled to run until 8 p.m. today at the 180 S. Main St. residence because administrators believe they are looking to cause trouble. Ed Kise and Mary Fogle-Kise live two blocks from the proposed home and are concerned that Able Group LLC, which will operate the home, has not properly informed the public of its intentions. Mark Williams, president of Able’s board, stated Friday that he has realized that not being more involved with the local community was an oversight on his part, but said this morning that he has offered to meet with the Kises with a mediator of their choosing because he does not feel they are looking for answers. “In my eyes, they’re looking to nitpick and shred the program in an effort to create more problems than to solve,” he said. “I’m not going to allow them on my property to allow them to do that.” For the full story, pickup a copy of Monday’s Examiner.
