Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. will not produce vehicles Friday and Tuesday at its Marysville Auto Plant as part of its normal production planning process, spokeswoman Stacey Pond said.
The five-day weekend also will be used for new model startup planning, she said.
Marysville, which produces the Honda Accord, will soon begin production of the Acura TLX. It also will begin producing the Acura ILX early next year.
The production adjustment at Marysville could affect work at some parts suppliers.
Marysville associates were informed ahead of time of the production change.
Ms. Pond noted that each Honda plant has periodic times of production adjustments and planning.
