Kiwanians honor student leadership

Seniors of the month from all the local high schools were recognized and honored during a recent meeting of the Bellefontaine Kiwanis Club.

Lorin Denny, current Key Club Lt. Governor, from Indian Lake High School, shared her recent experiences from attending Key Club District Leadership Convention and the Key Leadership conference, a trip sponsored by the club, saying that not only did she get a greater understanding of her duties and responsibilities as lt. governor, but she was enlightened on the purpose of Key Leadership to inspire youths to achieve their personal best in service leadership.

Josh Stolly introduced Cale and Molly Marker of Mad River Crossfit Gym in Bellefontaine. The Markers moved to Bellefontaine in November 2013 and opened their new fitness center, offering programs for all ages.

The annual Kiwanis/Rotary Golf Outing is Wednesday at Liberty Hills.
