Host Benjamin Logan won a pair of games over Riverside on Saturday in a cancer awareness softball event.
The Raiders 7-1, 5-0.
Ben Logan is now 19-8 on the season. Riverside falls to 14-7.
The two teams raised money to benefit former Riverside softball player Kelly Ware, who is battling cancer.
“I would like to thank all the Riverside and Benjamin Logan fans for supporting the cancer awareness game, and helping raise $500 for Kelly Ware,” said Ben Logan coach John Stahl. “Kelly is battling cancer and this softball game brings awareness to this terrible disease. We love you Kelly and you’re in our prayers.
“I would also like to thank my four seniors. You are all outstanding, hard working softball players and amazing young ladies. I consider you as part of my family. Good luck in college and in the future, I love you all.”
