Disorderly conduct chargefiled after ballpark incident

Bryan J. Neeley, 23, of Plain City, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct following an incident at the Huntsville Ballpark about 7 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies responded to the ballpark in reference to a 911 hang-up call. When they arrived, they spoke with an off-duty deputy, who had observed a couple having a loud dispute over a child custody arrangement.

Jami Smith, 25, of Lewistown, reported that she had sent several text messages that day to Mr. Neeley regarding custody of their children.

He showed up at the ballpark that evening and allegedly screamed at her in the bleachers in front of others.

He then reportedly took one of their children with him to the parking lot, and Ms. Smith said he grabbed and pushed her in the parking lot when she tried to get her child.
