Senior Jessica Davis fired a one-hitter to lead Riverside’s softball team past visiting Ridgemont in a 12-2 win in five innings on Wednesday during a Northwest Central Conference game.

The Pirates improve their record to 11-3 overall and are still spotless in the NWCC at 6-0.

Davis recorded five strikeouts in the win.

“The girls did a nice job tonight,” said RHS head coach Andy Phelps. “We were able to get on base and had some good hitting to get the runs in.

“Jessica did a good job on the mound giving up just one hit.”
