Benjamin Logan’s softball team pulled away late from visiting Urbana to grab a 10-4 win Wednesday in Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division action.

The Raiders are now 15-6 overall and 7-5 in the CBC Mad River division. The Hillclimbers fall to 3-15, 1-10.
The score was tied 2-2 after one inning. Ben Logan plated three runs in the bottom of the third inning to take a 5-2 lead.
Urbana drove in a run in the top of the fifth inning to trail 5-3, but Ben Logan answered with a five-run sixth-inning surge. That gave the Raiders a 10-3 advantage. The Hillclimbers could only earn one more run in the top of the seventh frame.
Shelby Harvey helped power the Ben Logan offense, going 4-4 with a double and five RBI. Darrian Rockhold was also strong at the plate, going 2-4 with two triples and two RBI.
Also for the Raiders, Sydney Evans went 2-4 with two RBI, Kate Campbell went 2-4 with an RBI, Taylor Coy hit a double and Taylor Quay added an RBI.
Campbell earned the win in the pitching circle.
