A total of $1,042 was collected from a silent dessert auction conducted by the staff at West Liberty-Salem Local Schools to raise money for juvenile diabetes research.

School representatives including students Abby Dillon, Kyle Crawford, Kannon Stillings and Brandon Holycross, auction coordinator Betty Dillon, and Superintendent Kraig Hissong presented a check to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation representatives Matt Johnson and Kelsey Gaskins.
