I think the weather is better here than Florida, California, or those in tornado alley. We are fortunate enough here not to have too many tornadoes or other natural disasters. Many people have too worry every year if they will have a house after hurricane season. So God blessed us, Michigan, Indiana, and even Illinoise with what I consider acceptable weather. Take it from me, I have rheumatory and osteoarthritis, I know bad weather when I feel it.
