The day Doug Chivington knocked on Gary and Sandy Lockwood’s door asking about their deceased son was a blessing for the couple who want their son to always be remembered for making the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

“I was amazed he came to our house asking about this,” Mrs. Lockwood said during an Operation Never Forget fundraiser Monday. “I don’t want David (Spicer) to ever be forgotten and this will help keep his memory alive forever.”
