Local and statewide elected officials converged Thursday on the Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 1851 W. State Route 47, for the annual elected officials breakfast.

Thursday’s topic of conversation focused largely on the impact Gov. John Kasich’s proposed biennium budget would have on DD boards statewide.
State Rep. Dave Burke, R-Marysville, says great care was taken to ensure Ohio boards of DD could maintain services.
“It’s imperative that we take care of the most vulnerable citizens among us,” said Mr. Burke. “I think with his proposed budget the governor fulfilled his campaign pledge to state DD boards.”
He also applauded Superintendent Joe. Mancuso and the rest of the Logan County DD administration and staff for doing more with less.
