West Liberty-Salem’s boys golf team cruised to a 175-221 win over host Cedarville on Wednesday in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup.
The Tigers are now 36-8 overall and hold a 9-0 record in the OHC.
For WL-Salem, Ryan Meister led with a 41, Nick Sims fired a 43, Jacob Rutan carded a 44, Darren Daulton had a 47, Casey Gay shot a 49 and Zach Taylor added a 55.
The Tigers travel to Southeastern today for another OHC matchup.
Braves drop Chiefs
Springfield Shawnee’s boys golf team defeated host Bellefontaine 159-170 Wednesday at Liberty Hills Golf Club in a Central Buckeye Conference contest.
Cody Hullinger led the Chiefs’ efforts with a 41, Cody Lyons shot a 44, Travis Fowler had a 46, Ryan Rogan carded a 49, Trent Nicholl had a 52 and Mason Coleman shot a 61.
The Braves also won the junior varsity match 176-204. Landyn Butler and Logan Scott led BHS with 49s, Ross Leasure shot a 51, Alex Richards carded a 55, Gage Scott had a 58 and Tyler Cramer had a 60.
Bellefontaine travels to Stebbins today in CBC action.
