A representative of the Chippewa Neighborhood Watch loads food items that were collected by the group for two families the group is sponsoring for the Thanksgiving holiday. The neighborhood watch meets once a month, and has hosted fundraisers and personal carry-ins to acquire enough food to pass along to their neighbors in need. Their next meeting is 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Eagles Annex on Shawnee Path, where organizers will talk plans for 2012. (PHOTO | SUBMITTED) |
